So what is this whole thing about you ask? Well, that my friend is partly up to you. What do you want it to be about? Sixty Second Ape Magazine (www.ssamagazine.com) is an online, community driven digital media magazine. Almost all of our content is generated by our users and various select contributors. The magazine was created to serve as an independant media outlet for the North Texas Music & Art Communities, but has grown since it's inception in 2006 to a full blown multimedia experience.

Whether you're an established writer, photographer, artist or musician looking for promotion, up and coming and just looking for a way to showcase your work or an enthusiest, these features are designed to streamline the publishing process and offer a promotional resource to the larger art and music community. We encourage professionals of all caliber to grow with us organically, contribute, participate and help shape the direction of this new and exciting community based publishing outlet.

In addition to the content generated by our users we publish four disital issues every year to showcase the best contributions: March, June, September, and December. The March issue is usually up and available for download in early January, the June issue appears in April, and the September and December issues are up in July and October respectively. Sixty Second Ape Magazine contains articles, interviews, features, poetry, personal stories, art, essays, classifieds, personal ads, resource listings and more stuff related to the lives of artists, performers, photographers and writers primarily in, but not confined to, the North Texas area. Our current online user base spans over 12 countries worldwide and we maintain an average of 150,000 hits per month. In addition to all of the obvious promotional benefits, our users enjoy dynamic, interactive features like:
